US Taxpayers
Action Bequia does not have a United States 501(c)(3) designation, so you may want to donate through the Community Foundation for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, which does have a US 501(c)(3) designation and thus your donation can be tax deductible. The Community Foundation will accept the donation and forward it directly to Action Bequia as a donation in your name.
There are two ways to do this:
1. Use Zelle (an electronic payment system) to make your donation to the Community Foundation for St. Vincent and the Grenadine, their email is communityfoundationforsvg@gmail.com, which you will use to identify as the recipient in Zelle.
2. Send an email to the President of the Community Foundation, Felicity Harley, at communityfoundationforsvg@gmail.com, and she will provide you with alternative ways to make your donation (such as writing a check or wiring money to the Community Foundation's bank).
Canadian Citizens and Residents
Action Bequia does not have charitable designation in Canada, so for donations of greater than CDN$250, and to ensure tax efficiency, you may consider donating to Bequia Mission, which is a registered Canadian charity.
You will still be able to identify the project(s) that you would like to support, and Action Bequia will recognize, in your name(s), the donations you make to Bequia Mission.
Of course, donations can still be made directly to Action Bequia, though tax receipts in that instance cannot be issued.

Donate on Bequia
You can donate on Bequia with cheques or cash, in any currency, by filling in the donation form on the back of an Action Bequia flyer.
These flyers are available at the Bequia Tourist Association Office (BTA) in the Harbour or from most Bequia hotels and some restaurants.
The BTA have kindly agreed once again to act as a collection point for these Bequia-originated donations, whether from locals or visitors.
Please put them in a sealed envelope marked Action Bequia with your name and email address inside.
